Our MissionAnimal Instincts School was created to educate the general public about the simple behaviors our family pets display in our everyday lives. It is our hope that through education, we can help to reduce the number of innocent animals almost destined to become abandoned or exiled to the streets or to local animal shelters. |

About UsAnimal Instincts School was founded by animal behaviorist Sherry Bedard in 2005. Sherry has been working with animals for as long as she can remember. Sherry had worked on her uncle's farm when she was very young and began to work with pet stores and veterinarians as she got older. Sherry now teaches canine and feline behaviors to students in adult education at Vanier College in Montreal. She can also be seen volunteering her time at local animal shelters in and around Montreal. A podcast on cat behaviors and a document on handling a dog when you bring him home can be found on www.pets.ca.
